Good morning friends!! Today is D-Day. Please visit the Media site to see if you have any work to do. Yesterday was a beautiful day! Did you enjoy your nature walk? My kids and I hung outside in the afternoon riding bikes and scooters! I hope you enjoy today's 3 Little Pigs book! Which one has been your favorite so far?

Reading- Log onto EPIC! And read The 3 Little Pigs and the New Neighbor.

Next complete the google document page that is on today’s page. You can print it out, or make a similar one at home. Whichever is easier. Then list 3-4 things that only happened in The Three Little Pigs and the New Neighbor in that part of the circle. Then the same for The True Story of theThree Little Pigs on his side of the circle. Last in the middle part list 2-3 similarities the stories had in common.

Last- read a book of your choice and read for 10 minutes. Record it in the Daily Reading Log. If you have run out of room on your daily reading log please print another page if you have access to a printer.

Writing-Complete one spring writing activity. Then you can choose either:

Write the acrostic poem for spring using adjectives or write about the things you saw on your spring walk yesterday using adjectives.

I took a wonderful spring time walk through my neighborhood. I saw many signs of spring. First, I saw pretty yellow flowers starting to bloom. Next, … Etc.

Choose one paper to print and do your writing on.

Science- Watch Brainpop Junior video on Spring. Take Quiz.

Math- (Topic 14-7) Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. It is topic 14 lesson 7. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Log onto IXL and complete teacher suggested activities

Spelling- Use the last 5 words and use them in sentences. Make sure you include at least 1 adjective in each sentence.

Phonics- Waiting for Spring Keep Book (It is in the orange folder.) Use a highlighter or a light colored crayon and highlight all the long o words spelled /oa/ and /ow/. Then read once together with an adult, then once by yourself. Save in a special spot so you can re-read throughout the week.

Next log onto IXL and complete the Long o/short o picture match. (It will be assigned to you the same way Math has been assigned.)
