Phonics/Making words- Parents please get your child’s Red reading journal and open up the ea words we glued in yesterday. Let your child read you all the ea words. Then pick an ea word and ask your child to write the word. It can be on a mini white board or piece of paper. After your child writes the word check to make sure he/she spelled it correctly. If your child is having a hard time spelling the word, remind him/her to say the word slowly to hear all the sounds in the word. Continue this procedure with at least 10 words (Please don’t use the spelling words, choose different ones from the list)

Spelling- Have a grown up give you a spelling test!! Complete the last ea worksheet (page 430)

Reading/Writing- Read the book I assigned to you on EPIC! It will be waiting for you when you log on. After you finish reading you will complete a book report. I have added a picture to show you which book report you should complete.

Last-read and illustrate pages 3-4 in Fairy Tales Keep Book

Math- (Topic 14-4) Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. It is topic 14 lesson 4. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Next log into IXL and complete the teacher suggested activities.

Science- Log onto Science. Once you have logged in, look to the top left corner. You will see a small symbol with 3 dots and 3 lines. Click on that. A drop down menu will fall. Click on Life Science. Then click on lesson 6-Life Cycle of a Tomato Plant. Read/listen to the lesson. Then complete Wrap it up questions orally. Next log into Brainpop Junior and search- life cycle of a plant. Watch the video and take the quiz!
