Reading

First, Log onto Pearson Realize and read Stone Garden

Next, log onto EPIC and read for 15 minutes.

Last, listen to Pigs by Robert Munsch

Phonics- read aloud Untie and Rewrap Keep Book 30A Highlight all the words that have un and re as a prefix. (If you can not print, make a list of the un/re words as you read.)

Next log onto Pearson Realize and complete Reader’s and Writer’s notebook page 590

Writing- (2 Day assignment-due) After listening to Pigs- students will use their reading comprehension skills, to write the beginning, middle, and end of the story. Please use complete sentences. Each part should have at least 2 sentences in their re-telling. Then they will put it all together and make their own pig! (If you can't complete the pig craft that is okay but the writing is mandatory.)

Word Wall/sight words- Write your word words 3 times each. They can be found in the peek at the week.

Math-Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. We are starting Topic 20. Do lesson 20 lesson 1. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Do the workbook page along with lesson 20-1

Social Studies- log onto S.S. site- read Topic 3 Jobs Past and Present . Then read topic 4 Transportation Then and Now. Watch video https://youtube.com/watch?v=vNgAHOIofpI After reading Topic 4, discuss with students the different types of transportation. Then have them create a way of transportation they think we will see in the future. Be creative!
