Good Morning! Today is C-Day and we have Library. Yesterday I accidentally mixed up the days, forgetting that the Friday we were off was actually an A day! Sorry for the confusion that caused. Below is your work for the day.

Reading-

First log onto Person Realize and read or listen to The Communication Story

Next, re-read your poem and answer the comprehension questions about poem (Copy of worksheet is below next to Poetry.)

Last, do Readers and Writers worksheet page 571

Phonics-

First glue your lists into your red reading journal. Then read au words and sentences and highlight the au words in each sentences.

Next, complete Reader’s and Writer’s notebook page 581


Last, watch au/aw video

Poetry Journal- Poetry-(2 days assignment due Thursday)-We will look for aw/au words in our poem. Print/copy poem into Purple Poetry journal. Highlight all the aw/au words, write the aw/au words in the box and illustrate a picture to go along with it.

Writing-

First, review nouns and common nouns

Next do IXL activity FF 5 for 10 minutes


Last, complete Wanted Poster. ( 2 day assignment due today) Students will choose either Miss Swamp or Miss Nelson and create a Wanted Poster. Be sure to add character traits and lots of adjectives to help find the “Wanted” person. Send a picture of you holding up your poster. (See Tuesday's assignment for worksheets)

Math-Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. We are starting Topic 19. Do lesson 19 lesson 2. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Do the workbook page along with lesson 19-2
