2020 Virtual Spirit Week

Good Morning! Today is C-Day and we have Library. Yesterday Lilah made her Flip Grid book review on Green Eggs and Ham. Go check it out and make a book review video on your favorite book! Today Honiss school is celebrating School Spirit by having Crazy Hair Day! Did you participate? Below is your work for the day.

Writing-

First, log onto Pearson Realize and watch Grammar Jammer- Pronouns I and me

Then, complete the following worksheets.

Last, complete Corduroy writing from yesterday.

Writing- ( Two day assignment) After listening to Corduroy complete the two character webs for Corduroy and Lisa.Write down character traits to describe each character. Then fill in the Story Elements page. In events, be sure to write First, Next, and Last.Give three events that happened throughout the story. If you run out of room, you can always write on the back. Be sure to write complete sentences. (Continued from yesterday-see 5/11 for worksheets)

Phonics-

First log onto Pearson Realize and read Hiking and Racing keep book (27 B) Listen for oo words.

Last, make ook word list.

Reading-

First Log onto Pearson Realize and read Dot and Jabber and the Great Acorn Mystery.

Next complete Journal- short answer on Pearson Realize.

Question: Look back at the Story. How do Dot and Jabber solve the great acorn mystery? (Students do not need to type. Students can explain their answer verbally and parents should type their response. Use details from the text to support your thinking)

Last, log onto EPIC and read a teacher suggested book. If you don’t have any please pick a book of your choice. Log it in your reading log.

Science -

First, log on to NG site- read 23-Carry Me and 24-Protect Me

Then, answer Wrap it up Questions orally after each section.

Last, watch video called Taking Care of Baby.

Math

First, log on to IXL- complete assigned activity. (F-4) Work for no more than 15 minutes

Last, if you have addition or subtraction flash cards at home practice them.
