State Testing Schedule
Here is the official testing week schedule for All Students : April 23rd - 26th
All Juniors:
Tues 4/23: 8:30am - 11:30am (CAASPP in Auditorium)
Wed 4/24: 8:30am - 11:30am (CAASPP in Auditorium)
Thurs 4/25: 8:30am - 11:30am (CAST in Auditorium)
Lunch immediately following Thursday's testing session
Lunch will be free for all Juniors - please RSVP here to give us an idea of how much food to buy
Parents, if you would like to donate supplies for Parent Volunteer Hours, click here
Fri 4/26: 9:00am - 12:00pm (CAASPP/CAST Makeups In Person or Virtual during Office Hours)
Seniors: (Only those who did not take the Science test as a junior.)

Glamour rolls the Dice at PLC's Junior/Senior Prom! Join us for a night in Vintage Vegas at the Twin Oaks Golf Course. The evening is sure to be classy with dancing, food, and casino games!

Ticket prices increase on Monday, May 13th to $100 & $110. Ticket link closes on Friday, May 17th at midnight. Door sales will not be allowed.
Outside Guests
If students want to purchase a ticket for an outside guest, you will need to fill out the Permission Slip and turn it in to Ms. Lindsey or Front Desk for approval. Once your guest is approved, your guest ticket option will be added to your profile. Reach out to Ms. Lindsey to request the status of your guest pass.
PLC Prom Court Nominations 👑

Students need to submit their 5 digit ID number and their last name to access the form.
Charter School Appreciation Night – Rockies vs. Padres
Family, friends, and charter school supporters are invited to join The Classical Academies at Petco Park and celebrate Charter School Appreciation Night on Monday, May 13, 2024! Discounted tickets are as little as $22.00 each and can be ordered online here: TCA at Padres 2024
Tickets will be sent electronically to the email address you provide and can be printed at home. This game will sell out; order your tickets early. The final day to pre-order is May 1, 2024.

Parent Feedback Requested - LCAP Survey (survey error corrected)
All California Public Schools must develop an annual Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) that aligns with their yearly budget in collaboration with all stakeholders. The Classical Academies values and input from parents, guardians, students, community members, and employees. Please complete this optional survey to help us gather important information about student achievement as we prepare our charters' goals, actions, and budget priorities. *If you have more than one student in our program, please take the survey once for each student.

Pizza Lunch - No Pizza this week!
Leadership students sell pizza every Wednesday as a fundraiser. If you want to purchase Pizza on Wednesdays 🍕🍕🍕, make sure you sign up ahead of time! The form closes on Tuesdays at 3pm!

Clubs
Check out the list of current clubs at CAHS-PL! Most clubs are open to new members at any time.
Absent/Tardy Procedures
If your student is going to be absent or tardy, parents need to send an email to plcattendance@classicalacademy.com or call the attendance line at (760) 462-1585 to excuse them. Students who are excused to be tardy will then be issued a tardy pass at the front desk when they arrive.
