As we enter the final three weeks of the school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate recent accomplishments and encourage our students to finish the year with purpose and resilience!
Did you know that reserach shows that how students end the academic year significantly impacts their long-term retention of knowledge? A study from the Learning and Memory Lab at Washington University found that students who maintain strong engagement through the end of term retain up to 60% more course material over summer break compared to those who disengage early. That is incredible! We want all of our students to start next year strong and what a great reminder that how we finish this academic year often determines how we will pick back up in the Fall!
So how can we end strong?
Set small, achievable goals for these final weeks!
Celebrate daily accomplishments, no matter how small!
Remember that ending well creates momentum for future success!
We are incredibly proud of our CAHS PL students and all they've accomplished this year. Let's support them in making these final weeks meaningful and productive!
