Master Zoom Schedule Update:

Safety and security is a first priority for us when it comes to our students and online platforms. We are incredibly happy to partner with Zoom as our visual platform and Nearpod as our presentation platform for synchronous learning. Due to password and login security, the master schedule with all links WILL NOT be released. However, the master schedule without links is attached here. Please note there have been a few synchronous class time changes to better fit scheduling. The link for each class will ONLY be posted in the Schoology course. This will allow a student to log into Schoology, see only their own classes, and access the code in that course. Our teachers will periodically change the Zoom code to ensure our high security standards.

Best practices for logging in each day include making sure the student is not logged into any other Gmail account. First, log into the tcadocs.com email account. Then, open Schoology as a single sign on, which will link through the tcadocs.com account. Finally, open Summit Learning, which will also log in automatically with the tcadocs.com account.

Please make sure your student has changed all passwords to be unique and not the default that was given to them on Gear Up Day.

A final note, only teachers will be opening content assessments. We will not be using the proctor email due to having limited support personnel to dedicate to opening and monitoring them. Please reach out to your teacher during their office hours or via Schoology message to request content assessments. These should also be listed in your goals to identify which day you will be taking them.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your teacher or cohort for clarification.

-Dr. Perez

PSAT Update

The College Board made a BIG announcement yesterday that will positively impact all of us as we plan for PSAT administration.

There is now an alternative date that the test can be given. This was designed for schools that are either closed for the fall or who are unsure if they will have all of their students and teacher proctors back on campus for the original October test date.

The new date the test will now be offered is Tuesday, January 26th.

Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) will be offered in January 2021. As many schools adopt remote learning this fall, we're expanding our testing opportunities across fall and winter for this school year. To provide the most opportunity for the greatest number of students:

We’re offering another administration on January 26, 2021.

The January administration will have the same benefits as the October PSAT/NMSQT, including eligibility for programs administered by National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

Who Do I Ask?

We know that clear communication is going to be crucial during this time, so we wanted to make sure you know where to go if you have a question.  We put together a "Who Do I Ask?" Document which contains all of our Support Team's specific roles and email addresses.  We want all students and parents to feel free to email anyone on our team with any questions that you have.
