Parent Boot Camp & Parent Power Hour

Parent Boot Camp:Mondays: 11a-12n on August 28th, September 11th, & September 18th,  Veteran Summit Parent and Teacher, Nicki Chase will be running Parent Boot Camps over Zoom.

Winter Sports “Caiman Way”

If you are interested in improving your physical and emotional health through athletics please keep reading! CAHS offers several different sports to choose from in the Winter.  Depending on the sport, tryouts will begin the first week of November. If you are considering trying out for one of these teams, please attend the Winter Sports “Caiman Way” meeting at CAHS on Tuesday, 10/10 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. We will start in Caiman Hall and then will move to the individual sport breakout meetings where you will meet the coaches and get details about your particular sport.

If you are interested in joining a team, please be sure to do the following:

1) Have your athletic clearance completed via Home Campus before the first day of tryouts. Your student needs to be cleared before they can step on the field/court/pool. You can find detailed instructions on how to submit this in the CAHS Sports document (link below).

2) Fill out an interest form for the sport you are interested in joining (link below). This will ensure that the coach has your contact info in order to send you start of season announcements.

Free Transit Passes for Students - Unlimited Rides on Bus, Trolley, Coaster & Sprinter

The Youth Opportunity Pass (YOP), which allows all riders 18 and under to ride all San Diego County transit systems (bus, trolley, Coaster, Sprinter), including North County Transit District and MTS services for FREE, has been extended through June 2024. 

To be eligible for the Youth Opportunity Pass, riders 18 and under must have a Youth PRONTO app account, or a Youth PRONTO card, and travel with proof of eligibility. Riders who do not have a Youth PRONTO pass may either download one on a smartphone or pick up a free card from the MTS Transit Store, NCTD Customer Service Centers or select community organizations. FREE Gift for Eligibility Verification

All youth with a YOP account must have their eligibility verified. For a limited time only, while supplies last, receive a FREE gift when you verify your YOP account at any NCTD Customer Service Center. Not sure if your PRONTO YOP eligibility has been verified? Call NCTD Customer Service at (760) 966-6500, Monday-Friday, 7am - 7pm, and weekends and holidays, 8am- 5 pm.

Senior Yearbook Photos

Hey Seniors!  

Studio 94 is offering ONE on campus FREE senior portrait session.  This will be November 2nd from 1-3:30 in room 111 on the Studio Campus only. This is a first come, first served basis.   If you can't make this session, Studio 94 now has a formal studio located here in Escondido.   Portrait sessions in studio will range from 15-50 dollars depending on the options chosen (the most common options being 15 and 30 dollars).

SD Loyal Soccer Club

Join your fellow Classical Academies friends and families to cheer on San Diego Loyal Soccer Club! Use this link for group rate tickets and sit with other Classical Academy community members. Last year we had over 70 in our group! Cheer on club EVP & Manager former US Men’s National Team legend Landon Donavon and his high-flying team. If you’ve never experienced a Loyal match day, you’re in for a treat! The soccer is incredible, and the atmosphere is electric.

Absent/Tardy Procedures

If your student is going to be absent or tardy, parents need to send an email to plcattendance@classicalacademy.com or call the attendance line at (760) 462-1585 to excuse them.  Students who are excused to be tardy will then be issued a tardy pass at the front desk when they arrive.
