🚨 New Course Alert! 🚨
Current 9th -11th Graders are welcome to join Transition Leadership in the fall!
Similar to a traditional “LINK Crew”, the CAHS-PL Transition Leadership program is a dynamic student leadership initiative led by upperclassmen, dedicated to easing the transition for incoming freshmen as they embark on their high school journey. Through a blend of orientation sessions, team-building activities, and ongoing academic support, Transition Leaders aim to establish meaningful connections with freshmen, ensuring their seamless integration into the academic and social fabric of the school. The course will focus on event planning, mentoring, and culture building.
**This course will include some work over the summer to prepare for welcoming Freshmen at the beginning of the year.
Add it to your course selection if you haven’t submitted already! If you have already submitted your course selection, reach out to Bree Roberson and request that Transition Leadership be added to your schedule!
What is the difference between Leadership and Transition Leadership?
PLC Leadership is focused on planning the bigger events (ie Homecoming, Prom, Dances, Spirit Days), and the leadership training is more intense and focused on leadership styles and interpersonal and team building skills.
Transition Leadership is going to be like a Link Crew that’s main focus is integrating Freshmen into PLC Culture. The upperclassmen will have a cohort of freshmen that they plan activities for and mentor throughout the year. The leadership training will be less intense and focus more on mentorship and life skills.

Theatre Production
What will CAHS principal Moen think when he finds out teens, Wednesday & Lucas, are dating!?!
Who would've thought that the princess of darkness would fall for a sweet, smart, “normal” guy? As the families of Wednesday & Lucas come together for dinner one fateful night, chaos ensues and everyone finds themselves admitting personal secrets yet coming together in ways they never would have imagined. The Addams Family tells the story of love and friendship through adversity, with a comical and macabre yet poignant spin. (Rated PG-13 for innuendos & scenes of silly torture)
