PL Families!
It’s time to start planning for next year! Course selection is officially kicking off, and we want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best choices for your student. Here’s what to expect over the next few weeks:
📅 Key Dates:
📢 March 6 – Incoming Freshman & Transfer Course Info Night @ 6 PM (PLC Auditorium)
📧 March 7 – Course selection form opens! Look for an email with resources.
💻 March 18-20 – Virtual office hours for rising 10th-12th families with final course selection questions.
✅ March 21 – Course selection forms are due!
👥 March 25-27 – Counselors meet one-on-one with students during workshops (Seniors on 3/25, Juniors on 3/26, Sophomores on 3/27).
🖥️ March 28 – Virtual office hours for IS students to meet with their counselor.
We will be sending out a detailed email this week with more information and resources to support you and your students during this important planning time. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to your student's counselor. We are here to support you every step of the way—let’s make it a great year ahead! 🎉

We are offering DOUBLE the hours to students who come and help children make rockets at Super STEM Saturday on March 8th at Cal State San Marcos!

Attention Senior Families! Check out these reminders and deadlines coming up!
You still have some time to order your Senior Ad for the PLC Eventbook; the deadline to purchase is March 1st! Senior Ads are purchased and designed through the same website to pre-order the Eventbook - https://yearbookordercenter.com/job/25819
Click on "Start your Ad", and you can go from there! (PLC Eventbook Senior ads will only appear in the PLC Eventbook, and will not be included in the Studio Yearbook.)

If your student is going to be absent or tardy, please send an email to plcattendance@classicalacademy.com or call the attendance line at (760) 462-1585 to excuse them. Students who are excused to be tardy will then be issued a tardy pass at the front desk when they arrive. Tardy Policy
If your student anticipates being absent from school for more than two weeks, please have them complete the Extended Absence Form and submit the completed form to the front desk at least two weeks prior to their planned absence.
