Estimated Time
30 minutes
Purpose
To work together by brainstorming about different topics
Objective
To match the official answers
Procedure
Divide participants into teams of 4 - 6 persons.
Each team gets a piece of paper and pencil or pen. For the first round, the youngest person is the writer.
The facilitator announces a category and how many answers are in that category. Teams may not write more than the set amount of answers.
After 30 seconds, the facilitator rings a bell and all teams raise their paper. Teams that do not raise their paper are disqualified for the round. The facilitator must check if teams wrote more than they were allowed. Teams that wrote more are automatically disqualified for the round.
The facilitator announces the official answers.
As the facilitator is announcing, the team writer circles any answers that match the official answers. Each team must keep track of how many answers are circled in each round.
In each round, the task of writing switches to the next youngest participant. Repeat steps 3 - 6.
Continue for as many rounds as time allows.
At the end, each team adds up the number of answers they have circled and the team with the most circled answers wins.
