Purpose
To help understand and memorize Bible verses
Objective
To score as many points as possible by tossing the paper balls into the basket
Procedure
Divide the participants evenly into groups.
Ask the participants to line up in single file lines in their groups.
Crumple up pieces of paper and place into separate container.
Split the participants into groups depending on the number of people.
Line up the participants in their groups.
Set a time limit for the activity.
Read the verse to the participants and allow them some time to memorize.
Have the participants recite the bible verse one at a time correctly to receive a ball.
After taking a shot, participants move to the back of their line.
Once the first person in a group has reached the front of the line again, a facilitator will give them a different memory verse.
When the time limit is over or all participants have recited all memory verses, count the number of points per group to determine which group is the winner.
Notes
The Bible verses can be given prior to the activity.
The activity is to test how well they retained their knowledge.
