Feedback Studio - adding a rubric V1 Only

How to attach Rubrics to a Turnitin Dropbox - ONLY APPLIES to V1

Since September 2018 only V2 is available. This site only applies to users who set up their submission dropboxes BEFORE September 2018.

In V2 attaching a rubric is part of the settings of the Turnitin dropbox, please see Setting up a turnitin assignment (V2)

You need to have at least one submission in the Turnitin Dropbox to be able to create/attach rubrics. Add yourself as Student and submit a paper so that you can create/attach rubrics ready to use before students submit their assignments.

Switch your role to Student from the Settings block.

Open the Turnitin Dropbox (please see here for 'how to create a turnitin drop box')

Go to the Submit Paper tab and select your name from the Student Name drop down list. (Do not select one of the students to submit, because this will prevent the student from being able to submit!)

  • Type a title in the Submission Title box, browse for your sample paper and click Add Submission.

  • Switch back from student to your normal role.

  • Open the Turnitin Dropbox.

  • Go to the Submission Inbox tab.

  • Locate your submission. (If you have lots of students you might need to set to All from Show xx Entries drop down list.)

Click on the blue pencil in the Grade column:
