Guest access for non-Brookes users

PART I - How to set up guest access for non-Brookes users with password

Set up guest access in your module settings (Settings - Course Administration - Edit settings):

Send the link to the moodle site you want users to access, for example

http://moodle.brookes.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=11864

Don't forget to send the password as well!

PART II - Send instructions to non-Brookes users

Here are the instructions for non-Brookes users of guest access:

• • Click on the link, respectively copy and paste it into your browser.

  • On the following screen, ignore the boxes for username and password.

  • Instead click on 'Login as guest':

• • On the next page, type in the password that has been sent to you:

• • You should see the moodle site that has been set up for you!
