Moodle's 'import' function can be used to import items from one Moodle site into another.

Note: you will need to have access to both modules in the role of 'module leader' to use this functionality.

You can find Import in the Administration block:

When you click Import, you can choose the module you want to import from on the next page. If you have more than 10 moodle modules you might have to type the module number in the search box at the bottom of this page:

On the next page, choose the following import settings (only tick 'Include question bank if you want to import quizzes), then click on Next:

On the next page, ALL items of the course are ticked by default. It is advised to first click on None. To be able to choose items within a section, you will have to tick the section header first, then tick the items you with to import:

Scroll down to the bottom of your list, where you will find a Next button to click on.

On the following page, you will be able to check if you selected the correct items.

Scroll down to the bottom of the list again, where you will find the Perform import button:
