Group overrides - setting up a quiz for different user groups:

User overrides can be used to allow groups of students to access a quiz at different times, and for different lengths of time. Please note that students can only answer the questions until the time the quiz is set to close (in the example below 17:00). This is different to Blackboard (our previous VLE), where students were able to finish the quizzes as long as they started the quiz before the quiz close time.

How to set/change different times/time limit for different groups

In Quiz administration block, select Group overrides.

Click Add group override and select a group from the Override group dropdown list.

Change the settings as required.

Save or Save and enter another override.

Note: You can use User overrides for one or more user groups.
