2 Structuring Moodle
Some general tips for structuring/designing your course page:
Use the section titles for clear sign-posting. (You don't have to stick with the default!)
Don't use sections headers for course content - this can result in a lot of scrolling.
Use labels for guidance.
Keep activity and resources titles short and clear.
Add descriptions in the description box.
Only make descriptions visible on the course page if necessary.
Use images to enhance the course page - they should relate to the content!
Simplify and categorize as much as possible:
Put files which are part of the same topic into a folder
Put links to external resources as hyperlinks onto a Moodle page. You might also consider to add them to an HTML block (see 'Customising Moodle').
Think about activating the 'completion tracking'.
Add/delete blocks are required for the course.
