Change user role

On occasion, you might need to change the role of Moodle user, for example when a lecturer, who needs to work as co-teacher, has been added to the module in student or course viewer role. This can easily be changed as shown in the image below. Don't forget to click the 'save' icon, which did not exist in earlier versions of Moodle:

Please always make sure that the role change is never used inappropriately because teaching roles, in particular, allow access to user data.
