MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (MET) APPRENTICE

Job Description:

• Gain knowledge and experience on the responsibilities of being a Manufacturing Engineering Technician (MET) through shadowing and assisting other METs.

• Gain knowledge and experience on machine system set-up, start-up, inspection, and adjustments.

• Gain knowledge and experience on how to analysis, troubleshoot, and resolve machines and identified problems.

• Gain knowledge and experience on mechanical set up, start-up, inspection, and adjustments on machine systems.

• Gain knowledge and experience on loading and downloading software required to enable machine controls systems to perform functions required to complete grinding cycle.

• Gain knowledge on control systems.

• Gain knowledge and experience on how to complete machine vibration analysis and reporting.

• Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work.

• Fulfill tasks assigned by manager.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Fives Landis Corp. as an industry leader to customers, suppliers, professional colleagues and employees.

Required Skills/Strengths:

• Mechanically inclined

• Working knowledge of repair tools and equipment

• Experience with hand and power tools

Flexible. 7 AM - 3:30 PM Mon - Fri.

$15.00/hr.
