SPRINKLER APPRENTICE
Job Description:
Fire Sprinkler Apprentices will have the opportunity to learn from experienced fire sprinkler techs. Rapid advancement is possible with mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic. If you are hard-working, not afraid to get dirty, and are respectful to others and their property, this is the apprenticeship for you!
Train with Fire Sprinkler Fitters
Learn the ins and outs of installation and service
Learn the names of materials and how they are used in the installation process
Assist in both commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems
Learn safety codes
Perform a variety of related miscellaneous tasks
Preferred Skills/Strengths:
A desire for hands-on work
Ability to read a tape measure
Mechanical ability required
Ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to work well with others
Able to work at various heights (ladder, etc)
Able to listen and follow directions well
Good attitude/self-motivated
Dependable/reliable
Respectful and trustworthy
Possess a valid automotive driver's license, with an excellent driving record
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
Able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
Able to wear proper PPE in all types of environments
Able to sustain periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, and kneeling.
Experience in reading and working from blueprints a plus
Required Related Instruction:
Electrical Construction, Power Mechanics, Construction Design & Management, Construction Building Trades, Carpentry

Job requires site work and transportation is required.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Flexible
Rate of Pay:
$18.00/hour
Tools Required:
25' Tape Measure, 10" Adjustable Wrench, Pair of Channel Locks, 9" Torpedo Level
