WCPS Career Connected learning system

The Career Connected Learning (CCL) System is a comprehensive statewide system that enables MD students to explore career pathways, gain real-world experience, and earn industry-recognized credentials while receiving high school credit through industry-aligned instruction. In short, CCL is a coordinated system connecting education with workforce needs.

Through the CCL system, Career Experience Pathways—such as internships and apprenticeships—connect qualified students with employer partners for hands-on work experiences that build real-world skills and support their career goals.
