JUNIOR ESTIMATOR APPRENTICE

The Junior Estimator Apprentice will gain knowledge regarding electrical systems by assisting with takeoffs, design of systems, and programming of systems.

Description:

• Log projects that need to be estimated in project management application (opportunities)

• Update opportunities to be estimated

• Request all documentation from customer (plans, specifications, start date, project schedule) if applicable

• Assist Estimator with estimate of project

• Send materials to vendor for pricing from estimate

Required Skills/Strengths:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Mechanically inclined

• Detail oriented

• Able to read blue prints a plus!

• Ability to learn and apply new skills

• Must have good math skills

• Ability to follow directions

• Ability to work at a fast pace / multitask

• Flexible and able to work in a team

• Friendly and dependable

• Must be able to take initiative and be open-minded

• Basic knowledge of business practices/accounting a plus!

Required Related Instruction:

Electrical Construction, Construction Design & Management or Power Mechanics

Hours:

M-F, 8 AM - 4 PM - Flexible

Rate of Pay:

$15.00

More Information:

Apprentice will be required to wear safety shoes when visiting work sites.
