Position #1- Account Coordinator Apprentice

Position Overview:

The account coordinator apprentice position is responsible for accurately entering customer orders and providing timely and accurate communication with customers and HUB team members. The account coordinator will also perform a backup role for the Account Specialist during their absence.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for keeping “Printflow Web” updated on a daily basis

·         Works with Account Specialist and Production Team on job status throughout the plant including projects that are not following course.

·         Responsible for order entry of all jobs for your team and looping in Sales as needed.

·         Responsible for checking their own order entry work for accuracy before passing it to the Account Specialist for a final check

·         Attending meetings as needed to support Account Specialist and Sales.

·         Assist Account Specialist with inventory management (email, reports, phone calls, etc.)

·         Responsible for gathering appropriate paperwork for internal/external Non-Conformances

·         Works with team to follow up on job status throughout the process and ensure OTD (On time Delivery)

·         Correspond with customers concerning day to day operations via email or phone, while Account Specialist is out (cc CAM on emails)

·         Act as back up contact person for Internal and External customers in the absence of Account Specialist

·         Participation in all HOP/OEE programs and events

·         Adherence to Hub Labels safety rules and regulations, this includes wearing steel toed shoes and other PPE protection if applicable

·         Support and embrace Hub Labels core values of Honor, Unite and Believe

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Must have the ability to write effective communications such as memos, e-mails, and reports using standard computer software, Microsoft Office

·         Effective communication with internal customers and other departments is critical

·         Must be self-motivated, organized, and display strong attention to detail

·         Must be able to work under pressure and meet job related deadlines

·         Be able to produce a high level and quality of work with little supervision

·         Must be able to multi-task efficiently and effectively daily.

·         Must have the ability to operate customary office equipment (computer, printer, copier, fax machine)

·         Mathematical and analytical skills are required

Position #2- Press Assistant Apprentice

Position Overview:

The apprentice will be responsible for working alongside the finishing department and aiding press operators in completing jobs. They will also be completing any projects around the production floor to aid in the flow of production!

Duties/ Responsibilities:

·         Provides quality assurance by reviewing labels and removing bad product from the finished rolls.

·         Responsible for rewinding labels from press to meet customer specifications, while adhering to all Hub Labels SOP’s.

·         Package finished job into cartons.

·         Completes all production/quality documentation records.

·         Shrink wrapping as needed.

·         Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor or any other manager.

·         Participation in all HOP programs and events.

·         Adherence to Hub Labels safety rules and regulations, this includes wearing steel toed shoes and other PPE protection if applicable.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Ability to read, follow oral and written instructions.

·         Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers using units of American and metric weight measures, volume and distance

·         Ability to evaluate and resolve basic production problems

·         Ability to operate a computer

Applied Manufacturing Engineer, Project Lead the Way Engineering, Project Lead the Way- Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Power Mechanics, Carpentry, Construction and Building Trades, Construction Design and Management, Electrical Construction

5.     Submit Your Application: Hand in your completed application, cover letter, and resume to your Career Coach. Your Career Coach will submit your completed application to Siona Escoto, Apprenticeship Coordinator at EscotSio@wcps.k12.md.us with the team email, Apprenticeship@wcps.k12.md.us cc’d.
