Position Overview:
The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is April-November but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding.
The major duties of the Maintenance Worker position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Provides simple and routine maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment and related utilities.
· Safely and effectively, uses hand power tools required for the job and has the ability to maintain these tools properly of a variety of trade practices associated with occupations such as masonry, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, and painting.
· Assists higher grade maintenance employees in the performance of maintenance tasks.
· Performs minor repairs for a variety of trade practices associated with occupations such as masonry, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, and painting.
Qualifying Related Instruction:
Power Mechanics, Carpentry, Construction and Building Trades, Construction Design and Management, Electrical Construction, and HVAC
