Position #1 Overview:
Stock Clerk and Inventory Control
Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
Inspect shipments for damage, loss, or defects, and notify management of findings
Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items
Operate dolly, pallet jack, and /or forklift in loading and unloading material
Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
Verify will-call and back order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
Pull and fill orders from stock.
Accurately count parts in inventory
Stay up to date on all safety and IT training.
Position #2 Overview:
Automotive Parts Counter Person
Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
Notify the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
Follow up on back-ordered parts.
Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
Stay up to date on all safety and IT training.
