$15.00 per hour | Weekday Hours 5AM - 5PM, Flexible
Job Description:
Welding of structural steel
Fabrication of structural steel
Various MIG processes
Operation of hand torch, band saw and other equipment as ncessary for preparing components for welding and final assembly
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills Needed:
Ability to learn and apply new skills
Attention to detail
Ability to follow directions
Ability to perform basic welds
Flexible
Friendly and dependable
Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus!
More Information:
Must wear welding appropriate attire.
Steel toes, safety glasses, and Weld PPE must be worn
Safety glasses and PPE are provided but apprentice can use their own.
Qualifying Related Instruction:
Power Mechanics, Collision Repair, Ag Engineering

5. Submit Your Application: Hand in your completed application, cover letter, and resume to your Career Coach. Your Career Coach will submit your completed application to Siona Escoto, Apprenticeship Coordinator at EscotSio@wcps.k12.md.us with the team email, Apprenticeship@wcps.k12.md.us cc’d.
