Mail Processing Clerk Apprentice
Merkle applicants will be considered for all positions based on related instruction. If chosen to interview, the student will be interviewed for all positions within their related instruction to see which would best suit their individual strengths.
The main duty of the Mail Processing Clerk is to sort and process incoming mail for depositing.
Description:
Assist in unloading and distribution of mail
Sort mail according to destination and type of envelope
Open envelopes by hand or machine
Record dollar amount on mail for processing
Required Skills/Strengths:
Ability to learn and apply new skills
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work at a fast pace / multitask
Flexible and able to work in a team
Friendly and dependable
Basic problem-solving skills
Occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
Must be able to read cursive

Image Scan Clerk Apprentice
The main job duty of the Image Scanner is to scan work into the system.
Description:
Scan various types of client mail
Operate a variety of scanning machines
Upkeep of scanning equipment
Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into system
Required Skills/Strengths:
Ability to learn and apply new skills
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work at a fast pace / multitask
Flexible and able to work in a team
Friendly and dependable
Basic problem-solving skills
Must be able to stand for long periods, 85-90% of shift
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Contact Center Agent Apprentice
The main purpose of a Contact Center Agent is to deliver world-class customer service to the donors of our nonprofit clients while producing accurate and error-free work.
Description:
Communicates client missions and programs via phone and email to assist donors
Follows established work instructions to service accounts properly
Navigates internal and client databases
Enters data into various systems
Required Skills/Strengths:
Ability to learn and apply new skills
Ability to follow, retain and understand directions easily
Flexible and able to work in a team
Friendly and dependable
Basic problem-solving skills
Outstanding Customer Service skills and experience
Ability to multitask and change course quickly
The ability to speak Spanish is a plus
Ability to sit for long periods of time and exposed to prolonged screen time
