LINE COOK APPRENTICE
Description:
Interacting with guests
Prepping food, including washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients
Assist with set up
Assist in the cooking process
Assist in keeping back of house clean
Operate kitchen equipment
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Strengths:
Interest in hands-on work
Excellent customer service skills
Experience in food prep
Good communication skills
Ability to learn and apply new skills quickly
Knowledge of basic food safety procedures
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work at a fast pace / multitask
Friendly, enthusiastic, and dependable
ServSafe certification a plus
OSHA10 certification a plus
Required Related Instruction:
One course in the following pathways. Please see Program of Study for specific courses.
Culinary Arts, Food and Beverage Management, Hospitality and Tourism
Hours:
Flexible. Must be able to work within regular business hours.
Mon. - Fri. 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, Sat. 8 am - 3 pm

Rate of Pay:
$14.50/hr.
