B. What is Open- mindedness?
Open- mindedness remind us that we don't live in this world alone. We belong to a community where we constantly interact with different people. To fascinate our relationships with each other, we need to listen to others' opinions and ideas. This shows a lot of respect for others and also recognizes that together we can all invest our efforts to make this world a better place to live in.
C. How often have you heard your parents say, " You're getting older, you have to learn to be more responsible"? How often have you feel irritated by this because they sound like a demand or a reprimand rather than a reminder?

Being open-minded paves the way for relationships to grow and develop. The person does not only recognize his or her own self- worth, but at the same time, he or she recognizes the self-worth of others, that's why he or she is willing to listen to them. This is clearly seen in our relationship in the family. Today, various advancement and progress in technology and science have brought about some tensions in the family. This situations often create unnecessary arguments and misunderstanding that have continuously bred conflicts in the family. The values of open- mindedness allows each member to respect one another and to take time out to listen to each other.
