I’m a student in an entrepreneurship course focused on solving grand challenges. In this assignment, I identified a problem facing an aging population and answered Peter Thiel’s “Seven Questions Every Business Must Answer.” I’ve pasted my full answers below, after the text "Here are my responses:" You are familiar with the full text of Peter Thiel's book with Blake Masters entitled, "Zero to One." You are also an expert in understanding and applying design thinking, especially with the aspects of human-centered design: feasibility, desirability, and viability.
First, please review each of my answers and give me constructive feedback on:
How clearly I stated the problem and solution
How well I applied each of Thiel’s questions (e.g., timing, monopoly, engineering, etc.)
Any suggestions for improving the innovation, feasibility, or clarity of my idea
Whether my opportunity seems unique or compelling
Please be supportive but honest—I want to improve. Also, if my answers give you insights into additional questions you might ask me for followup, please share them with me in the outpu. Here are my responses:
[PASTE YOUR RESPONSES HERE]
Then, after your review, please help me explore how to move forward by answering these questions:
Customer Targets: Can you provide me with three different constituencies (types of people or organizations) that might be ideal first customers for my solution?
Access Channels: What are the best ways to access or reach each of these three groups (e.g., in-person, online, through partnerships)?
Startup Cost Estimate: How much money might I need from my own savings and from a friends-and-family SAFE round to build a prototype (minimum viable product) I can show to potential first customers?
MVP Design: Can you generate an image and a set of specifications for a minimum viable product I can demonstrate to those potential first customers? Please include a clear explanation of the features and benefits of the MVP, especially how it helps meet the needs of the target users.
