I try to keep it lenient for dev options and edits, to at least get the aspect of my idea in game, though so far none of my ideas have been seen... I think...

IDEA
So, druids can talk with animals and plants greater than the character naturally can, but what if you add a faction tree so that players can do so as well?
This would allow for:
1) New random encounters, or edits to old ones to make them more interesting
2) New Quests that can only be seen with the perks from the tree... sort of like Persuasion or Intimidation talents
3) More Companions: Fauns at least
I see why there won't be a Faun player race, there aren't many of them and they don't speak common. Would've been fun though.
Now, other abilities from this Druidic Faction skilltree could be things like vines and spirit motes, or even communing with other aspects of nature... Anything that the druids can do really. This is basically just a way to allow players to feel more involved with the world around them.
Now, a Druid class (you've probably already heard this part countless times) would be a lot of fun. Compared to the guild tree it would have other abilities, more powerful abilities, more specialized abilities.
Every part of Druid being nature and spirits, unlike the Warden.
Every part being like the Druid NPCs and what they can do.
Class vs Faction: Faction allows quest expansion, class is just that, a class.
Also, Class might be Race locked to Breton, and may require any race any alliance as Druids technically aren't of the main 3.
Self recap: Druid Faction tree so everyone can have a taste of nature and can expand questing limits, Druid Class so people can control nature.
Also, Druid magic solely be green colored, as that is all the NPCs do.
With Druid Faction Skilltree comes the ability to chat with animals and Fauns, and plants and spirits...
Faun Companion: After unlocking the ability to talk with Fauns, you can discover a random encounter of at least 1 Faun being attacked by something, or by many things. In the end only 1 Faun survives and it can become a Companion, similar to Mohair. The Faun can have many variations, being by gender, Faun Class, and Name associated with such.
Faun as player Race: Though extremely unlikely, it would be fun. Maybe Meridia (or other good daedric prince) enchants a Faun with the ability to speak, thus making a playable Faun. Combine with Nightblade or Druid class and can be pretty close to the Faun NPCs.
More backstory... The Deadric Prince looks for a champion, finds the Faun that becomes the player, and enchants it with common tongue. Ok, maybe I'm not very good at backstories, but I tried...
