Protections

Grief protection against people stealing your items.

There are two scopes of grief protection:

  • Who can break the blocks that comprise your storage (causing the items inside to spill in the world).

  • Who can access your storage and take items out (or put items inside).

Breaking a Container Storage

If you break the blocks storing the items, they will drop those stored items. As long as you dont use /gremove to remove your protection, only you can break those blocks.

Accessing the Contents of a Storage

If you make your container Private using /gprivate, only you will be able to take items out of it or put items into it.

Using Public containers, with /gpublic, anyone will be able to take items or put more items in.

Private storages, only you have access to it, only you can break it.

Public storages, anyone has access to it, only you can break it.

No protection, anyone has access to it, anyone can break it, and anyone can claim it.

For Private storages, allow friends of your choosing to also access your storage.

See the status of the current protection of the storage you are looking at, like people you have added with /gmodify, and who has ever opened this storage.

Piston-Pushing Limitations

Blocks that are part of a Physical Container Storage cannot be pushed by pistons.

'Blocks' in plural, because using CustomStructures, you can make containers that are linked to structures, and such the entire structure is the storage. Breaking any block of the structure will cause the container to spill its items, and no block of it can be pushed by pistons until then.
