Reduce new sexually related incidences by enhancing condom distribution programs and increase the number of people not only receiving condoms but using condoms, anytime, anyplace in any element. The MOJO Mission is to remove social stigma and spread safe sex with condom use for ANYONE-ANYWHERE. Implementing action on social determinants by disseminating (slicing and dicing into a task list in a data base)

information for our community to better understand the science of happiness and the dynamic interaction among the behavioral, clinical, policy, systems, occupational, and environmental determinants (road blocks) of health; with a special emphasis on identified target populations such as pairing the advantage to the disadvantage.

Condom distribution is a hallmark of HIV prevention activities.

Increasing the number of condoms distributed and made accessible to high-risk populations will be enhanced by jurisdiction. The Essential Elements of Condom Distribution Programs (www.effectiveintervention.org) are addressed in each jurisdiction reinforcing availability, accessibility, and acceptance.


1. Provide condoms free of charge.

2. Conduct wide-scale distribution.

3. Implement a social marketing campaign to promote condom use (by increasing awareness of condom benefits and normalizing condom use within communities).

4. Conduct both promotion and distribution activities at the individual, organizational, and environmental levels.

5. Target:

a. Individuals at high-risk

b. Venues frequented by high-risk individuals

c. Communities at greatest risk for HIV infection

d. The general populations within jurisdictions with high HIV incidence.


6. Supplement the condom distribution program with more intense risk reduction interventions, or other prevention or health services, for individuals at highest risk.

Integrate distribution program activities within other community-level intervention approaches to promote condom use and other risk reduction behaviors.

7. Establish organizations support for condom distribution and promotion activities in traditional and non-traditional venues.

8. Conduct community-wide mobilization efforts to support and encourage condom use.

According to the latest estimates from UNAIDS:1,2,3,5

There were 35.3 million people living with HIV in 2012, up from 29.4 million in 2001, the result of continuing new infections, people living longer with HIV, and general population growth.

 The global prevalence rate (the percent of people ages 15-49 who are infected) has leveled since 2001 and was 0.8% in 2012.

 1.6 million people died of AIDS in 2012, a 30% decrease since 2005. Deaths have declined due in part to antiretroviral treatment (ART) scale-up. HIV is a leading cause of death worldwide and the number one cause of death in Africa.

 New HIV infections overall have declined by 33% since 2001 and, in 26 low- and middle-income countries, new infections have declined by 50% or more. Still, there were about 2.3 million new infections in 2012 or more than 6,300 new infections

per day.

 Most infections are transmitted heterosexually, although risk factors vary. In some countries, men who have sex with men, injecting drug users, and sex workers are at significant risk.

 Although HIV testing capacity has increased over time, enabling more people to learn their HIV status, the majority of people with HIV are still unaware they are infected.

 Increase of condom use is IMPERATIVE to #endingaids

The current state of HIV/AIDS in America is unacceptable. The health of the American citizen is compromised. If the current situation continues, the momentum we have gained in the AIDS epidemic will be diminished. Effectiveness of the AIDS prevention programs previously implemented to reduce new HIV infections nationwide will no longer be adequate; and are already ineffective. We have to prevent this from continuing to happen, and the progressive repercussions diminishing the momentum.

This is a CIVIL RIGHTS ISSUE.

Stitch Factory is a Fashion Incubator in Las Vegas established to curate and support emerging designers. Celebrate OUR Differences

Each year over 50,000 people are infected with HIV/AIDS. America’s youth suffer from a substantial burden of many other STIs infections. The age ranging between 15 to 24 represent 50% of all new sexually transmitted infections (STIs) across the nation. HIV takes the greatest toll on African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos and MSM (men who have sex with men) of all races.

Young People 13-34- 1,000 young people are infected with HIV/AIDS, yearly.

Black Americans-The rate of new infections among blacks is eight times the rate among whites.

Latin Americans-Among Hispanics, the rate of new HIV infections is three times as high as that of whites.

Women-Transgender Male to Female

Men who have Sex with Men (MSM)-And according to a recent CDC analysis, even though MSM represent approximately 2% of the U.S. population, they accounted for over half of all new HIV infections annually from 2006-2009. In 2009, MSM accounted for 61% of new diagnoses.

In July 2010, President Obama announced that is simple with inspiring vision: “The United States will become a place where new HIV infections are rare and when they do occur, every person, regardless of age, gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or socio‐economic circumstance, will have unfettered access to high quality, life‐extending care, free from stigma and discrimination.

The strategy outlined three primary HIV health outcome goals:

1) reducing new HIV infections,

2) increasing access to care and optimizing health outcomes for people living with HIV, and 3) reducing HIV‐related health disparities.

To accomplish these goals, the President declared that we must undertake a more coordinated national response to the HIV epidemic. And that’s what the key Federal agencies involved in the fight against AIDS set out to do: working with state, tribal and local governments, businesses, faith communities, philanthropy, the scientific and medical communities, educational institutions, people living with HIV, and others.

GOMOJO has completed the implementation strategy on behalf of the The United States Presidents strategy listed in several pages amongst 1,000’s of other departments strategies, recommendations and requirements listed in over 58 billion dollars followed.

Call to Action

The President is calling on Americans interested in getting involved in My Brother’s Keeper to sign up as long-term mentors to young people at WH.gov/mybrotherskeeper. This effort will engage Americans from all walks of life to sign up to develop sustained and direct mentoring relationships that will play vital roles in the lives of young people.

It is important that all children have caring adults who are engaged in their lives. But too many young people lack this support. For example, roughly two-thirds of Black and one-third of Hispanic children live with only one parent.

Moreover, research suggests that a father's absence increases the risk of his child dropping out of school among Blacks and Hispanics by 75 percent and 96 percent respectively. We see significant high school dropout rates—as high as 50 percent in some school districts—including among boys and young men from certain Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander populations. And some 27 percent of American Indians and Alaska Natives live in poverty, compared to 11.6% of White Americans.

Cross-Cutting Recommendations

    • Launch a public-private campaign to actively recruit mentors for youth and improve the quality of mentoring programs.
    • Make the status and progress of boys and young men of color and other populations more visible by improving data collection and transparency.
    • Support locally driven efforts that are more comprehensive – addressing the educational, physical, social and emotional needs of young people– and that span multiple life stages from cradle-to-college.

team special forces action item #1 intuition without much thought I began and now purposely throw this shit in the trash. LOL funny but not funny we always look through them first and scan the pictures and the faces but haven't seen any of the people pictured. If we do by chance we will make sure to smile and let them know that there are Alls I know is these are embarrassing and on EVERY single stand I pass I open them up and toss them all in the next trash can, which I am going to submit request to have placed near these distribution sites. I have linked the Bill of Rights to the picture. We are a Federal State and I really have no problem exercising my rights of Freedom of Speech to trash. I was called a crazy lady last time I was here and I decided not to go there and was proud well I did a little but caught myself and went back to the conversation with the community service trash clean up worker, lol I always wanted that job and could think of no better way then to do some time. I always smile at the orange vests and if you stop and talk to a few you'll be surprised what you can learn.
