Paperweight
Paper Weight
By Grace Dynako
I want all that life has to offer
But sometimes I bite more than I can chew
It’s easy to be engulfed in this big, exciting world
It’s almost dangerous
Sometimes I think back to thick blankets
Or a balloon on a string
Something that was grounding me
It’s easy to be lost
But it’s even easier to lose yourself
I need a balance
That’s why I write
So I can never forget
And lose track of life
