Acknowledgments
As always, a huge thanks goes to Ms. Wink who has supplied all the art for this year’s edition of Ramblings. The art that her students create is not simply beautiful but deeply perceptive in how it represents the mind, heart, and soul of Glenbard East.
A similarly large thanks goes to this year’s editors. Eva Brooks, editor-in-chief, has been leading the Ramblings effort for the past three years with competence, compassion, and grace. Co-editors Salmah Abdulkadir, Margaret Meacham, and Allison Schmuldt have added the kind of capacity and perspective that simply makes the magazine better.
When it would have been easy -- because of the Covid-19 pandemic and how it has interrupted the normal school year -- to abandon the 2020 edition of the magazine, all four of these editors stepped up and insisted that we press on. And press on they did, coordinating remotely and volunteering their time and talents to produce one of the best Ramblings ever! These four editors are a happy reminder that the future is in superb hands.
And finally, big thanks goes to the many writers who have contributed so generously to the magazine. This is an excellent edition of Ramblings, and it is the overall quality of the submissions that makes this so.
