TOYS FOR GIFT SHOP

Hi hi, here are some updates about the toys for your gift shop. Most of the toys are suitable for your kindergarten children and some are for their siblings in primary school. You may select from the packages below:

What are the packages?

Packages of assorted toys for girls + boys as below:

Package A - RM 500 = 30 units

Package B - RM 1000 = 70 units

Package C - RM 1500 = 120 units

Package D - RM 2000 = 170 units

*For your info, the retail price of most of the toys is above RM20.

How to order & make payment?

All the contributions can be banked into:

A tax-exempted receipt will be issued for the said contribution. You may liaise with me for the ordering.

Delivery of the toys

We will make arrangements with you and our driver will deliver them to you as soon as you made the contribution.

Below is my advice in order to keep things going...

STORAGE

Stock - LoW House Hall 4 (10pcs or more)

Loose Items - Community Library Storeroom (We don't keep more than 10 of the same item here)

***Make sure we have a sample of each item in the Library Storeroom!!!

ACTION PLAN

1. Giving out through Happy NewKidz Gift Shops (can give to schools involved)

- @Ndee Lo You liaise with other school heads, we send them the stocks in hands, so that they can buy less for their Gift Shops.

2. "Selling" the toys through Shopee

- Jasmine has agreed to start-up and monitor for us, but we will do our own logistics.

- @Lee Na Ng You will be put in charge of it, and to liaise with Jasmine.

- All the income from the sale, she will channel it back to Foundation as a donation every month.

3. Giving out through events and to children's homes, etc.

- @Yin Hui to coordinate.

A. BEFORE THE ACTUAL DAY

1. Who to receive the boxes? - Yin Hui / Anusuia / Koon Wu

• Cross check with the sign-up list.

• Feedback to Yin Hui if encounter any discrepancy.

• Yin Hui to contact the "sponsor" to verify.

• Yin Hui to inform them if there is a change of recipients.

2. Where to keep?

• To keep everything at Lot 1 (NewKidz Hall) according to the age groups (To check with Ms Lam of the space.)

• Once done checking, sticking of stickers and tying of ribbons, then only distribute them to 2 distribution locations.

3. When and Who to do double check the contents? - Yin Hui / Anusuia / Koon Wu

• Refer to the guidelines.

• For boxes look empty, we will get extra gifts from InTouch "Pasar Malam" and Joy In A Toy to fill them up.

The Scale

1. Joy in a Box will be done in a small scale this year due to the current CMCO situation.

2. Targeting about 80 boxes.

3. Having it for children and teenagers from

   - Tutorial Services
   - NewKidz
   - Squad 7
   + Hour of Power (Follow the actual number of participants)

4. The list cannot be long and we cannot have words to go out.

Info about the Distribution

• 19th December 2020 (Saturday)

• 9.30am - 1.30pm with different time slots

• To be distributed at Preschool [younger] + Hospitality Room [older] (2 distribution points, do not want to attract crowd))

The Boxes & Contents

1. To get people (inclusive of InTouch members) sending in shoe boxes.

2. If cannot fill up, it is ok to send in empty boxes.

3. Can be of any amount, as long as it is full.

4. We can always help topping up with things from
   - Pasar Malam (Chinese Service)
   - Joy In A Toy
   - RM2.10 Shop

5. We will just put a sticker on top.

How about Us?

1. Every staff is encouraged to participate in this activity by signing and preparing the boxes.

1. List out the types of boxes (according to the age groups) & allocate the number of recipients

*Excluding Hour of Power - we'll give to everyone, according to the actual number of participants.

2. Get the Preschool, Tutorial Services, NewKidz & Squad 7 to fill up the names of recipients.

3. Announce to InTouch to sign-up with Yin Hui (phone number), on a "first-come, first- served" basis. We also welcome empty boxes, from there we can fill them up with goodies.

4. Meanwhile...

The Printing of Stickers

1. The cheapest printing for JIAB sticker:

• A4 size - 60 copies - rm76

• A3 size - 30 copies - rm90

2. The cartridge costs about 120 + for both colors and black. That day I (Yin Hui) printed the Christmas bags tag (60+ copies) used three quarter of the ink = RM90 (estimated by Samuel)
