"My friends, not many of you should become teachers. As you know, we teachers will be judged with greater strictness than others." James 3:1
Truly, it is a heavy responsibility to be a mentor to someone... it is also a big commitment, to see to the breakthrough of everyone of the mentees under us, to grow with them...
Thank you for saying YES! to be a mentor... Thank you to Yue Shan also for setting it up.

Let your mentee go through his / her Appraisal Form (=Form A) with the marks averaged out by Yue Shan.
*He/she can always refer back to their "self-review" copy.
Keep it up!!! for
(1) the areas that are doing well (with high marks)
(2) the achievements of 2020
Look into areas that need improvement. It was under the "Section C" of the Appraisal Form, now we use "Form B" with more specific guided questions.
(1) Goals / Key Result Areas - The "Draft" column should have been filled up by your mentee. Discuss with your mentee and fill up the "Finalized" column.
(2) Training Needs - Same as above.
End the session by signing the Appraisal Form and Form B.
Fill up the "Mentoring Follow Up Form" and be ready to meet up again in a few months' time.
Passed the Appraisal Forms to HR with the attachment of "2020 Achievement".
File the Form B in the Mentee's File.
Feedback to Yue Shan on any challenges faced during the session or to get suggestions on how to guide your mentee to have a further breakthrough.
