Dear Auntie Clarine
We are in the midst of reviewing the food stuff our clients are receiving. Some families are receiving 3 types of food supply: Food Provision, Blessing Bag and Love on Wheels at the same time.
For example, Paul’s landlady was asking him, why we gave her so much food. She is an elderly single lady who received Food Provision (partial), Blessing Bag and Love on Wheels. Therefore we want to review our existing Food Provision families.
The Welfare executives have met and discussed, we would like to make a proposal. We only provide 3 types of food supply (Food Provision, Blessing Bag and Love on Wheels) for families with households of 7 and above.
As for families with less than 7 persons, we only provide Food Provision and Love on Wheels, not giving them any Blessing Bag.
At the same time we are adding some household items into our Food Provision which previously only found in Blessing Bag. Items like detergents, floor cleaner, tooth brushes, tooth paste, soap.
Content of our existing supply:
Food provision (once a month) - 10 kg rice, canned food, beverage, instead noodle, cooking oil, eggs, biscuit.
Blessing Bag (once a month) - noodle, biscuit, canned food, various household items / personal hygiene items.
Love on Wheels (twice a month) - a loaf of bread, canned food, biscuit, soya beans and dried noodle. Household of 3 - 2 packs, household of 5 - 3 packs.
Auntie Clarine, we needed your wise input in this matter, as we are worried of food wastage. Please help us to make a suitable arrangement for our clients. Thank you.
