1. Jehovah Jireh - This name means ” The Lord Will Provide”
   耶和华以勒意思就是耶和华必预备。Used in Scripture in Gen. 22:13-14, Ps. 23, Mark 10:45, Rom. 8:2

Jehovah Jireh is my provider. The ultimate provision from God to mankind is shown through the giving of His Son for our lives. God will meet all our needs.

Prayer: Lord, You truly are Jehovah Jireh. As You provided for Abraham and Isaac, so You have provided for FunGates, the FunGates Schools and the upcoming Eduweek! Thank you for the blessings of Your provisions. Thank You that You will provide for all our needs. Most importantly, thank You for Your work on the cross that gives us Eternal Life! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 

2. Jehovah Nissi - This name means ” The Lord Is My Banner”
   耶和华尼西的意思是耶和华是我的旌旗。Used in Scripture in Ex. 17:15-16, Duet. 20:3-4, Isa. 11:10-12, Eph. 6:10-18

He is my banner! He alone gives us victory in life.

Prayer: Through Your Work on the Cross we can stand in victory over the Evil One. Though we may encounter adversities during the planning and preparation for Eduweek, we can rest in the truth of Your Word. You are our Banner, as we go out into battle we have strength because we serve You! Strengthen us Lord, as the things of this world surround us. Keep our eyes on Your Banner as we follow You! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

3. Jehovah Rapha - This name means ” The Lord Who Heals”
   耶和华拉法的意思是耶和华医治你。Used in Scripture in Ex. 15:25-27, Ps. 103:3, Ps. 147:3, 1 Peter 2:24

He is my Healer. He has made a way to heal us for eternity from our separation from Him.

Prayer: Lord, we pray that You would be the Lord Who Heals. We pray for the physical (and the spiritual) needs of everyone during this Eduweek. We pray that You would reach down and touch us and bring healing. Open our eyes to Your truth and give us a longing to be healed from our sicknesses, touch our bodies and give us rest and relief from any and all pain. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

4. Jehovah Rohi - This name means “The Lord Is My Shepherd”
   耶和华罗以意思就是耶和华是我的牧者。Used in Scripture in Ps. 23:1-3, Isa. 53:6, John 10:14-18, Heb. 13:20, Rev. 7:17

The Lord, my guardian provides, directs and leads His people. He is a tender Shepherd!

Prayer: Lord, we pray that in this Eduweek, when the unnecessary worries and distractions surround us and try to pull us away that You would come to our help like David did when the bear attacked his sheep. That You would lead us beside still waters and take our burdens to give us rest. We pray that through the valley You would lead us to safety and security. You are our guardian, lead us for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

5. Jehovah Shalom - This name means “The Lord Is Peace”
   耶和华沙龙意思就是耶和华赐平安。Used in Scripture in Num. 6:22-27, Judg. 6:22-24, Isa. 9:6, Heb. 13:20

He has made a way that we can be at peace for eternity. Through the faithful work on the cross.

Prayer: Lord, we are in need of Your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. We are surrounded by the cares of this Eduweek. We pray that we would have a faithful heart to look to You for the rest that we need. You are Jehovah Shalom, our peace comes from You alone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

6. Jehovah Shammah - This name means ” The Lord Is There”, ” The Lord My Companion”
   耶和华沙玛的意思就是耶和华的所在，也就是说耶和华在我们中间。Used in Scripture in Ezek. 48:35, Ps. 46, Matt. 28:20, Rev. 21

God’s presence is not contained by man made things. He is calling on the hearts of all people.

Prayer: Lord, we know that through any situation during this period of time, You remain present and attainable to any who would call on Your name with a humble heart. We pray that everyone of us would allow You to open our eyes that we would see that You truly are there amidst everything. You are Jehovah Shammah, no one can contain You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.  

7. Jehovah Tsidkenu - This name means ” The Lord Our Righteousness”
   耶和华齐刻努意思是耶和华我们的义。Used in Scripture in Jer. 23:5, 6, 33:16, Ezek. 36:26-27, 2 Cor 5:21

Through His work on the cross we can be made righteousness in the eyes of God.

Prayer: Through Your work on the cross we can come to You with an open heart. We thank You for all that You have done, for all that You gave up to save the world. Who would die to save another? Jehovah Tsidkenu, because of You we stand righteous! There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. There truly is no one like You! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

~ Let our thoughts be simple and pure, no ulterior motives; just want to please God and bring glory to His name in everything we do. May God cleanse all the ungodly thoughts, selfish ambitions.

9 Great blessings belong to those who work to bring peace. God will call them his sons and daughters.

~ Pray that during this Eduweek, in someway, Holy Spirit will mend the broken relationships, bring in reconciliations among the teachers and peace in every school.

10 Great blessings belong to those who suffer persecution for doing what is right. God’s kingdom belongs to them.

~ Putting the criticisms aside, we will continue to do what is right in God's eyes in the Mountain of Education - to make an influence and impact, and most of all, a transformation in our land!

11 “People will insult you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because you follow Me. But when they do that, know that great blessings belong to you.

~ Pray that God will silent the mouths of the enemies and the evil competitors just like the lions in the den. We will continue to let God lead our way, and we will be the most obedient children ourselves.
