Genièvre

More evidence of the shared cultural heritage with Vlaanderen and the Netherlands is the popularity of Genièvre.

Just over the 'French Flanders' border is village of Houlle which is home to one of the last three remaining French distillers of traditional Genièvre.

The Distillary offers guided tours for 6.50 euros.

July & August at 16:00 (no reservation required)

Other times 09:00-12:00 & 14:00-18:00 with reservation via website.

Closed on Sundays and National Holidays.
