Odele and Didier are the owners of one of the oldest bars in Cassel, featuring in 'Jim's Heritage List'. Odele having taken the café over from her parents.
The building itself is one of the oldest in Cassel. Notice the 'Chaumière' sign on the side wall in the bar, this was foudn only a few years ago in a neihbour's shed.
The simple front bar is where the locals congregate, drinking the pils on tap, or a wine, or maybe one of the many bottled beers available.
There is a large terrace to the front, and eating frites or sandwiches from one of the town's outlets is fine, as long as drinks are purchased from the bar.
Please refrain from taking photos, the owners do not want this.
