Oxelaëre, La Ferme des Templiers
The farm lies in the heart of the small, pretty village of Oxelaere, at the foot of 'Mont Cassel' and is widely known for its signature cheese 'Boulet de Cassel'. A small, round, orange coloured hard cheese which can be matured at home for several months, making it an ideal holiday purchase.
Their small farm shop is located in the very traditional courtyard and sells the Boulet along with butter, yogurt, raw milk and other local farm products.
Watch out for the goat, he sometimes tries to hitch a lift in your car.
