Katsbier
Gautier Coudevylle has been brewing a range of Katsbeers for several years at the 'Lepers brewery' near Armentieres. After several setbacks and a proposed location that fell through, he finally managed to open his own brewery in 2017.
He now works there together with Olivier Labruyere who previously brewed at Sikaru.
'Katsbier' gets its name from the 'Katsberg' which is the original Flemish name for the nearby 'Mont des Cats'.
There are off sales and a tap room open every Friday 14:00 to 18:00 and also sometimes at the weekend (see agenda on their website below)
