Chapelle

During Carnival it is a tradition to open your house to 'friends', 'friends of friends' and selected 'passers by' to offer them drinks and snacks.

The well known Chapelles attract many regulars who return each year, often thanking their hosts with Carnaval songs and music.

The hardcore Carnaval goer can visit 4 or 5 Chappelles in a day, with a few rest breaks at local bars!
