Oudezeele, Les Trois Rois

You can find this most traditional of Estaminets on a crossroads just outside the village of Oudezeele.

If you like time-warp simplicity, you will love it here. Be sure to smile and shake hands with all the locals on entry, but don't disturb the card players!.

The owner Tim, whose lively demeanor belies his age, is one of a steadily diminishing number of locals whose mother tongue is the local West Flemish dialect (Fransch Vlaemsch).

Picon, Pelforth and Wine are served to local farmers, hunters and now and again, this English migrant.

Sit back and enjoy living history!
