A timeless calssic.
One of the rare examples of original cafe on the 'Jimś Tips Heritage list' . The owner's first language is 'Westhoek Flemish' which was widely spoken in the region up untilm the 1970s (don't expect to be understood if you speak Nederlands, but 'West Vlaemsche' will do nicely.
The interior is simplicity itself, with the small shop/bar concept of times gone by. The beeer selection has a few welcome surpises, but it is the living history you come here for.
