Berthen, Les Bio des Monts

Lovely 'nouveau rustic' Organic (Bio) bar, epicerie, bistro just outside the village of Berthen on the French/ Belgium border where only the language hints as to which side of the border you are on.

Three top local beers on draught (PIF, Thiriez and Bellenaert) plus some interesting bottles.

Two plat du jours (one veggie), organic products on the shelves. Lovely terrace adjacent to a small village park with proper children's play area. The Flemish Mountains (160m) form a perfect backdrop.
