Bailleul, bellenaert café

Great beer bar in centre of Bailleul.

This was the first of the now two Bellenaert beer cafes, the other one being in Dunkerque.

Their own beers have been improving nicely with time, and the cafe also sells a great selection of guest beers, focusing mainly on French but also some Dutch and Belgian.

The service is friendly and helpful, and they serve some good sausages and local patés for snacks and now some more substantial options of quality homemade open sandwiches and waffles.

The bar itself is nicely functional, with bar seating and some tables, and a small terrace to the front. There are regular themed music nights.

This place finally puts Bailleul firmly on the Beer Map!!
