Class Requirement. Magic-user, Illusionist, Cleric, or Druid.

This oaken staff is the equivalent of a +3 magic weapon. 

(If weapon vs. armor type adjustment is made, the staff of striking is always treated as the most favorable weapon type vs. any armor.) 

It causes 4-9 (d6+3) points of damage when a hit is scored. This expends a charge. 

If 2 charges are expended, bonus damage is doubled (d6+6); 

if 3 charges are expended, bonus damage is tripled (d6+9). 

No more than 3 charges can be expended per strike. 

The staff can be recharged.
